Each card holds a distinct value, with aces at the top, earning you 11 points, followed by tens at 10 points. Kings, queens, and jacks have their own values at 4, 3, and 2 points, respectively. Cards like jokers, nines, eights, sixes, and sevens add tactical depth as they carry zero points.

Throughout the deck, there are 120 points to vie for. Players must be cautious, as accumulating the fewest points might lead to penalty points: more than 30 gains you 2, less than 31 gets you 4, and failing to capture any trick lands you with 6 penalty points. The game continues until a player accrues 16 or more penalty points, which signals their loss.

The gameplay begins with each participant drawing from the central deck to determine the order of play, based on the highest card drawn. After dealing six cards to each, a trump card is selected and the match sets in motion with individuals attempting to 'trump' or follow suit. Jokers possess the power to trump any card and can only be bested by another joker. It consists of offensive and defensive play, where players can interrupt or start anew provided they have cards in hand. Each turn concludes with players drawing from the central deck to maintain a hand of six cards until the deck is exhausted.

In an unexpected twist, holding five cards of the same suit or achieving a hand of 'clean' cards (aces, tens, and jokers) permits a player to break turn order and make their move, injecting a surprising strategic element into the battle for points.
